Night Clock is the best iPhone clock for your bedside table and other dimly lit environments.
* Automatically dims brightness of display
* HUGE display font; easy to read
* Instant access to brightness adjustment
* Portrait and Landscape modes
* Disable the iPhone's Auto-Lock (for nightstand use)
Designed specifically for people with poor eyesight, Night Clock features a simple interface and a HUGE font that makes it easy to read the display. Even if you can't find your spectacles you won't need to squint.
Night Clock will automatically dim the display after five (5) seconds of inactivity. The dimmed display is perfectly readable at night and it doesn't disturb your sleep.
Use the Settings application to set Night Clock's Brightness and Prevent Auto Lock preferences.
New in version 1.5: adjust the Brightness and Prevent Auto Lock preferences from within Night Clock.
When Night Clock is running, tapping the screen will toggle between dim and bright displays.
NOTES ABOUT AUTO-LOCK
The iPhone by default will Auto-Lock the screen and turn off the backlight when you are not using it. You can disable this feature by going to the Settings application (pictures of gears on the first page of applications), then choosing Night Clock and setting Prevent Auto-Lock to On. This setting only takes effect when you are running Night Clock; the iPhone will still Auto-Lock normally when not using Night Clock.
You can also change this setting by moving the Padlock icon within Night Clock to the open position. Then the iPhone will stay unlocked and backlit which is perfect for a nightstand.
