TypeIt4Me Touch is a text expander, as used by tech columnist David Pogue.
NB: Unlike the Mac version by the same name, this app can ONLY expand your abbreviations inside the app itself rather than in any app you happen to be typing in.
HOWEVER, text typed within TypeIt4Me can easily be copied and pasted into any other app, thus greatly enhancing the usefulness of text expansion.

Use this app to save time when typing notes, tweets or emails on your iPhone, iPad (or iPod Touch). How? By typing shortcuts for frequently used words or phrases, called 'snippets'.
Want to type Best regards? just type 'br' and let TypeIt4Me expand it to 'Best regards'.
You can, of course, create your own shortcuts right on the mobile device, but if you happen to use TypeIt4Me on a Mac, you'll be glad to know that you can email your Mac snippets to yourself to use them with this app.
A Microsoft Word macro is also available on request to convert your autotext/autocorrect entries to TypeIt4Me format ready for use with TypeIt4Me Touch.
To email, launch TypeIt4Me, compose your text using your shortcuts for speed and accuracy then select Mail from the action menu.
For extra comfort, rotate your device and enjoy full landscape typing.
Use Twitter? Tweet at the speed of light by using text expansion within TypeIt4Me and choosing Tweet when your text is ready to go.
